Part-Time Farmers Market Associate – Pet Wants All-Natural Pet Treats

Join our Pet Wants team as a Part-Time Farmers Market Associate and help pet parents discover healthy, all-natural treats for their furry family members!

About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and pet-loving person to run our Pet Wants pet treat booth at local farmers markets in Arlington Heights and Crystal Lake. You’ll be the face of our brand—engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and creating a welcoming, fun experience for pets and their people.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and break down the Pet Wants booth at local farmers markets
• Greet customers and their pets with a friendly, outgoing attitude
• Explain our all-natural treats and pet products and help customers choose the best options
• Handle transactions accurately
• Keep the booth clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Represent the Pet Wants brand with professionalism and enthusiasm

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for dogs, cats, and all things pets
• Outgoing, positive personality and great communication skills
• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 50lbs during setup/breakdown
• Reliable transportation to and from Arlington Heights
• Punctual and dependable—markets run on schedule, rain or shine!
• Previous retail, customer service, or event experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Pay:

• Part-time, primarily weekends Saturdays 6:30am-1:30pm and Sundays 8am-3:30pm
• Occasional weekday, retail store shifts, and special events possible
• Competitive hourly pay, plus commission bonuses based on performance
